SeatlabNFT Backed by the NEAR Foundation

As you may already know, we’re developing our next-generation NFT event ticketing marketplace on the NEAR Protocol blockchain. We’ve chosen to do so because of their approach to scaling. Event ticketing requires systems that can handle high volumes of data, as thousands of tickets can be sold for just a single event. Any blockchain-based solution would need to meet these demands without becoming congested, leading to slow transaction times and high gas fees.

The NEAR Protocol uses a sharding architecture called Nightshade to solve the scaling problem, which allows us to process thousands of transactions simultaneously without any adverse effects.

NEAR Foundation Grant

At the back end of last year, we were awarded the biggest grant the NEAR Foundation offers. In addition to our successful pre-sale and seed funding round, the grant we received from the NEAR Foundation gave us the financial means to grow our team and begin the development of SeatlabNFT. It was also a vote of confidence from one of the fastest-growing blockchain ecosystems in the world. Having the backing of the blockchain ecosystem we’re building on means we have the support needed to become the leading NFT ticketing provider on NEAR.

The NEAR Protocol is a Hotbed of Developer Activity

The NEAR Protocol has attracted developers from around the world thanks to its developer-friendly nature and its approach to scalability. The blockchain boasts one of the highest levels of developer activity and is poised to break into the top 10 crypto assets by market capitalisation in the near (pun intended) future.

With such a vibrant ecosystem of projects, SeatlabNFT is in the perfect environment to collaborate with some of the brightest minds in the blockchain and Web3 space to revolutionise the event ticketing industry.

What’s Next?

We’ve just completed a successful IDO which you can read more about here. Our focus has now shifted to our imminent CEX launch, launch party, and the release of our platform’s Beta test in Q3 2022.
