$SEAT Trading is Live on Ref Finance

$SEAT trading is now live on Ref Finance!

Since our successful IDO back in May, we’ve been keeping an eye on the wider crypto market, continually assessing the situation and waiting for the right moment to launch $SEAT on an exchange. Finally, after many months of ups and downs, we felt the time is now right to launch.

Ref Finance is a NEAR-based decentralised exchange that lets users swap a wide range of crypto assets without using a centralised third party.

We’re also giving away MASSIVE prizes through our dedicated yield farm to celebrate the launch. More on this in a minute.

How to trade $SEAT on Ref Finance

1. Create and fund a NEAR wallet

You only need to complete this step if you don’t already have a NEAR wallet containing either some $NEAR or other NEAR-based assets listed on Ref Finance. You can create and fund a NEAR wallet on NEAR’s official website. For more information and a step-by-step guide, click here.

2. Go to Ref Finance

Head over to Ref Finance, a decentralised exchange where you can swap NEAR-based crypto assets with other traders.

3. Connect NEAR wallet

In the top right corner, click “Connect to NEAR” and select the method you used to create your NEAR wallet. If you set up a wallet as outlined in step 1 and you’re using the same browser you used to create that wallet, you’ll be asked to confirm the connection. Follow the instructions to confirm the connection.

4. Select exchange pair

Once you have successfully connected your wallet, select the asset you want to swap for $SEAT from the top dropdown, and select $SEAT from the bottom dropdown.

5. Choose amount

Enter the amount of $SEAT you want to buy.

6. Click “Swap”

Once you’re happy with the assets you’re trading and the amount of $SEAT you’re buying, click “Swap”.

7. Confirm transaction

Lastly, confirm the transaction in your NEAR wallet by following the instructions in the popup that appears.

Adding liquidity and farming

To celebrate the launch, we will be creating a farm where liquidity providers can deposit their LP tokens to earn a big APR and extra rewards paid out in $SEAT! Anybody can become a liquidity provider by adding liquidity to our liquidity pool; this is how it works.

Becoming a liquidity provider

To add liquidity, you must have some $SEAT and some $NEAR to deposit into the liquidity pool already in your connected NEAR wallet. We suggest a 50/50 split. If you only have one or the other, you can click on “Swap” in the main menu and swap tokens until you have the right amount.

1. Once you’ve connected your NEAR wallet to Ref Finance, click on “Pools” in the top menu and then “View Pools”.
2. Search for the SEAT-NEAR pool and click on it.
3. Click “Add Liquidity”.
4. Choose the number of tokens you want to add to the liquidity pool and click “Add Liquidity”.
5. Confirm the transaction.
6. You will automatically receive LP tokens.

Farming

To farm and earn big rewards in $SEAT, you must have LP tokens which you get when adding liquidity to our liquidity pool as outlined above.

1. Click on “Farms” in the top menu.
2. Search for the SEAT-NEAR farm and click on it.
3. Click “Stake” and then choose “Max” in the popup that appears, and then click “Stake” again.
4. Confirm the transaction.

Once you’ve staked your LP tokens in the farm, you’ll begin accumulating rewards that you must claim periodically.

You can unstake your LP tokens and withdraw your liquidity at any time.

Token Release Schedule

We have implemented a five-year token release schedule that ensures the integrity of $SEAT. Tokens will be released into circulation slowly over time, protecting the value of $SEAT and reducing sell-side pressure.

NEARCON 2022 and our exclusive VIP networking event

We attended this year's NEARCON conference in the beautiful city of Lisbon, Portugal, where we showcased our NFT ticketing technology at our booth and hosted a SeatlabNFT VIP networking event one evening. Huge 7-stage NFT-ticketed UK university tour

Seatlab Sounds was a seven-stage university tour that saw us host freshers events headlined by the likes of Clean Bandit, Hardy Caprio, LF System, R3WIRE, Shane Codd and Karen Harding, which was ticketed via our app. The goal was to educate the next generation of event-goers about our next-generation NFT ticketing technology. Exclusive ADE side party with NFT tickets, collectables and more!

We've teamed up with renowned talent agency The Bliss Office to organise an unforgettable side party at this year's ADE. On 21st October, BAUT Oost will host an NFT-ticketed event that will see big-name DJs such as Øostil, The Element, Undercat, Glowal, Cellini and Axel Haube play in an intimate setting.
